GENMAB TO PRESENT INITIAL HUMAX-CD4 PHASE II DATA AT AMERICAN COLLEGE OF RHEUMATOLOGY CONFERENCE

Copenhagen, DENMARK - October 29, 2001 - Genmab A/S (CSE: GEN and Neuer Markt: GE9D) announced today that Jan van de Winkel, Ph.D., Chief Scientific Officer, will present an initial analysis of the HuMax-CD4 Phase II dose finding psoriasis study at the American College of Rheumatology Conference in San Francisco. These results will be based on analysis of 79 of the 85 patients in the study. Dr. Jan van de Winkel will discuss this information on Monday, November 12, 2001 in a talk entitled "Novel Antibody Therapeutic Approaches for Inflammation."
